Instructions
- Step 1:
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Step 2:
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Step 3:
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
- Step 4:
- Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
- Step 5:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Step 6:
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 5 mm (1/4 inch) thickness.
- Step 7:
- Using snowflake-shaped cookie cutters, cut out cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
- Step 8:
