  • For Decoration: 100 g (3.5 oz) white chocolate melted , Green gel food coloring , 12 strawberries (hulled washed and dried) , Assorted sprinkles and/or edible stars , 12 small marshmallows (optional for hat base)

Instructions

Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) Line a square 20x20 cm (8x8-inch) baking pan with parchment paper
Step 2:
Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave let cool slightly
Step 3:
In a bowl whisk together melted butter and sugar Add eggs and vanilla whisking until smooth
Step 4:
Sift in flour cocoa powder and salt Mix gently until just combined
Step 5:
Pour batter into prepared pan smoothing the top Bake for 20–25 minutes until set but fudgy Cool completely in the pan
Step 6:
Once cool cut brownies into 12 squares
Step 7:
In a small bowl tint melted white chocolate with green food coloring
Step 8:
Place a marshmallow on each brownie square if using then set a strawberry (pointed side up) on top to form the hat
Step 9:
Spoon or pipe green chocolate over each strawberry to resemble a Christmas tree Decorate immediately with sprinkles and/or edible stars
Step 10:
Let set for 10 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate briefly until chocolate hardens
