01 - 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
09 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
11 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
12 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
→ Fries
13 - 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
14 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
15 - 1 teaspoon salt
16 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
17 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
# Preparation Steps:
01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F. Toss the potato fries with vegetable oil, salt, paprika, and black pepper. Arrange evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until fries are golden and crisp.
02 - Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Add the steak cubes and toss until coated thoroughly.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Sear each side for 1 to 2 minutes until well browned and cooked to desired doneness.
04 - Add unsalted butter to the skillet and toss steak bites to coat them evenly and develop a glossy finish. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
05 - Plate the hot steak bites alongside crispy fries and serve immediately.
