01 - Fill two tall glasses halfway with ice cubes if desired.
02 - Measure and pour 2 ounces Malibu coconut rum into each glass.
03 - Place 1 large scoop of vanilla ice cream into each glass.
04 - Slowly top each glass with 6 ounces chilled Sprite or lemon-lime soda, allowing the froth to settle.
05 - Garnish with a maraschino cherry, mint leaf, or lime wedge as desired. Serve immediately with a straw and a long spoon.
