# Preparation Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Boil rigatoni in salted water until slightly under al dente, approximately 2 minutes less than package directions. Drain and set aside.
03 - Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Crumble and brown sausage until cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove sausage and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, sauté onion and bell peppers until tender, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute more until fragrant.
05 - Add tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes to skillet. Season with salt and pepper, simmer for 10 minutes.
06 - Return browned sausage to skillet and stir thoroughly to combine with sauce.
07 - In a large bowl, toss cooked rigatoni with sausage and pepper sauce mixture.
